Erick Víquez is a visual artist whose practice moves between the dimensions of landscape, literature, and art history as sites of incomplete transmission. His work explores ideas of time, distance, and estrangement, where paintings becomes a way of approaching the numinous and the silence present in Latin American culture. Through his visual language, he reflects on vestiges of violence, colonial histories, and the spectral presence of nature, opening spaces of tension between history, place, and image.
